Summer Reading Challenge prize draw terms and conditions

By entering this prize draw, the entrant and/or your appropriate adult/parent/carer ("you") are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. 

1. This prize draw is only open to children who are members of any library located within the borough of Hillingdon and have joined the Summer Reading Challenge. Only children who have completed all 4 visits of the Summer Reading Challenge by the end date of Saturday 14 September are entered into the prize draw.  
2. Details of how to enter can be found at discover.hillingdon.gov.uk/summer-reading and form part of the terms and conditions.  
3. The winner will be chosen at random during the week following the end date of the Summer Reading Challenge (Saturday 14 September). The winner will be notified by email or telephone.  The winner will be notified twice and if they do not respond within 7 days of the second email/phone call, then they will have forfeited the prize and another winner will be selected at random. 
4. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there are no cash alternatives.  Please note that Hillingdon Council's use of prize(s) does not imply an affiliation with, or endorsement of, the chosen prize(s) or their organisations. 
5. If you win the prize draw, you may be required to participate in publicity and photographs. By entering this challenge and the prize draw, you agree to this and to the publishing of your name on our website and in any other promotional materials.  
6. Entry to the prize draw is free and no purchase is necessary.  
7. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond our reasonable control and, accordingly, we may at our absolute discretion, vary or amend or cancel the prize draw, refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of the terms and conditions, and you agree that we shall have no liability as a result thereof.  
8. Correspondence relating to the prize draw will not be entered into.  
9. We will own the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all entries to the prize draw and in consideration of us allowing your entry to the prize draw, you hereby irrevocably and with full title guarantee assign to us all such rights. 
10. These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
