Harefield Green and War Memorial

- Description: Portland Stone obelisk with raised laurel wreath on each side on base bearing names and inscriptions including:
TO THE/ GLORIOUS/ DEAD/1914/1918/(NAMES). On column:1939-1945 (NAMES).
The memorial is surrounded by a rectangular area of stone paving slabs with 4 panels of pebble cobbles and a flight of 6 steps descending the pond bank. The steps are flanked at the top by a pair of low stone piers. The paving to the north-west of the obelisk includes 2 stones engraved with names of recipients of the Victoria Cross, Privates Cecil John Kinross and Robert Edward Ryder, added in 2014. These include depictions of the Victoria Cross, names of the regiments and the dates of the actions for which the award was made.
