Witches of Eastwick by Pastiche Musical Theatre Group
Dance with the Devil in this captivating musical.
Pastiche return to the Compass with their production of John Dempsey and Dana P. Rowe's The Witches of Eastwick, based on the novel by John Updike and the film, starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer.
It is a dark and stormy night in the (seemingly) perfect New England town of Eastwick. Three women, frustrated by the constant scrutiny and disapproval of their buttoned-up neighbours, fantasise about their ideal man. Coincidentally, or maybe not, the brash and vulgar Darryl Van Horne arrives in the neighbourhood. It doesn't take long before he uses his charms to release their creative energy along with their inhibitions! As Darryl casts his spell over the whole town; Alex, Jane and Sukie use their newly discovered powers to teach their depraved seducer a lesson.
Pastiche are thrilled to present the return of this funny, well-loved show with its captivating score and breathtaking spectacle, marking 25 years since the show opened in the West End.
Please note: that this show contains mature themes, moderate language and violence.
Pastiche will be raising money for St. Lukes Hospice.
